EPM Sound Off! Alumni Show feat. THE FAME RIOT with Laser Fox
This is a very exciting event! Sound Off! is a battle of the bands that the Experience Music Project puts on every year. But this battle of the bands has a twist, all members of the band must be under the age of 21. Together, with our talented friends THE FAME RIOT (2013 finalists) and the EMP we've put together an amazing show of Sound Off! alumni.
THE FAME RIOT is not a band; it's a religion. The pair of brothers is at the forefront of a shift in musical style and culture, drawing influence from the last 4 decades of rock, pop, electronica, disco, and everything in-between.
Seattle's Laser Fox deal up infectious and glittery electronic pop packed with synths, drum machines, bright guitar riffs, and surf rock tendencies. With a band name that calls to mind a Bond villain's secret weapon or a new character on Adventure Time, Laser Fox describes their music as "Passion Pit on drugs, without the drugs." Even though this group has been together less than a year, they have the energy and expertise to get this city dancing to their music in no time. - EMP Museum's Sound Off!
