Alamo City Provisions: August Dinner
Alamo City Provisions is a collaborative dinner series featuring San Antonio's most talented chefs. Each chef brings their unique perspective to the kitchen -- inspiring and challenging their peers to create an unforgettable meal that showcases their collective talents.
The five dinners in the 2014 Fall/Winter dinner series will be held at various venues in San Antonio, with the venue providing the theme for the meal. The dinners will provide an opportunity to meet some of the city's rising stars in the culinary field, while enjoying outstanding food in distinctive venues.
We encourage guests to browse through the five scheduled dinners and make reservations, as seating is limited.
The first dinner will be held on August 24th, 2014 at 6:00pm at the Josephine Theater. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception in the foyer of the Josephine theater, guests will then proceed to the theater for a five course dinner with cocktail and wine pairings accompanied by live jazz music. Each course will be inspired and prepared by the following chefs: John Russ, Luke San Antonio Pieter Sypesteyn, The Cookhouse and Where Y'at Food Truck Michael Sohocki, Restaurant Gwendolyn and Kimura Diego Galicia and Rico Torres, Mixtli Elise Broz, Biga on the Banks
