Jazz at The Green Room: Matt Glaser Trio featuring Brittany Karlson & Jon Wheatley
Violinist (or is it fiddler?) Matt Glaser served as the chair of the string department at the Berklee College of Music for more than twenty-five years. He is now the founder and artistic director of Berklee's American Roots Music Program. His exploration of jazz, bluegrass, and the rich terrain in between has afforded him the opportunity to play with such varied artists as Stephane Grappelli, Yo Yo Ma, Bob Dylan, David Grisman, Andy Statman, Lee Konitz... you get the idea! He also served as an advisor and onscreen commentator for Ken Burns' PBS Jazz documentary series.
He'll be joined for this show by Berklee alum Brittany Karlson on bass and vocals and Berklee colleague Jon Wheatley on guitar.
