Drum Mafia #11

The Columbia Drum Mafia was started by Brian Geiger and friends eleven months ago. The Drum Mafia is a monthly meeting for all drummers and spectators to come together to have fun playing and learning new ideas from each other. These Drum Jams have become instructional-clinic type sessions. The mafia has had some of the best clinics and getting bigger and better each month.

The Clinics scheduled for this month are:

7:00 Todd Ellis- Todd will discuss Entertainment law 101, importance of Partnership agreements and other musician contracts.
7:45 Jim "Soni" Sonefeld, is coming in to talk about drummers crossing over from drummer to front man. His new album is out now.
8:45 Jacobi Gunter, Zildjian's Drummer-Love winner is discussing "making a tedious task fun with the metronome"
Following these two clinics is an open jam 9:00 p.m. until midnight. Anyone is welcome to participate. Kits will be supplied for all to play. We'll play with a click track and with original backing tracks recorded by Paul Hale. Please bring your own sticks and headphones.
