2009 IPM Workshop for Landscape Professionals - EASTSIDE
This half-day workshop at Lake Washington Technical College focuses on how to transition landscapes to reduce maintenance needs, improve appearance, and cut pesticide use. It provides concrete examples from:
- The Woodland Park Rose Gardens transition to 100% organic maintenance
- Changes to the grounds of Lake Washington Technical College
- A panel of landscapers describing both changes in practices and communication with clients
Pesticide recertification and continuing education credits offered from the Washington State Department of Agriculture, International Society of Arboriculture, Certified Professional Horticulturists, and Certified Landscape Technicians.
