THE WHO: Live in Texas 1975
Tuesday, August 18 at 7:30pm Guest Speaker: Archivist Bill Shelley
Members $9 / Public $12 / Includes Reception Active Membership Will Be Checked
This amazing concert captures The Who at their best, and at the height of their musical powers in the mid 1970s in Houston, Texas. If youve never seen The Who during the 70s this is your chance to witness the explosive energy of the group as they perform Baba OReilly, Behind Blue Eyes, Wont Get Fooled Again, plus selections from Tommy and Quadraphenia, and of course their classics My Generation and Magic Bus. This is one of the last great classic Who concerts with the late Keith Moon. This never-before-seen concert was transferred from the original inch reel video tape masters with digitally restored picture and sound for your enjoyment. Presented by Shelley Archives Inc., which is currently working on producer George Martins PBS documentary The History Of Sound. (The program will run approximately 120 minutes)
