DIY Aquaponics Herb Garden
Participants will assemble a five-gallon tabletop system, which makes a great home for 1-2 goldfish and will grow up to three herbs. The system includes plumbing, water and air pumps, a water testing kit, plants, net pots, wood frame and a five gallon aquarium (please note: participants will need to provide their own fish). Workshop participants will also receive instruction on properly maintaining their new tabletop ecosystem.
Note: The ideal spot for our home-scale system is a window which gets 6+ hours of direct sunlight. If your do not have adequate sun exposure in your home, or want to provide additional light, we will be able to recommend light fixtures to purchase.
