CESCHI:
New Haven CT's Ceschi (pronounced chess-key) Ramos makes his own version of progressive hip hop spliced with elements of folk & indie rock. Although he has almost "mathy" technical rap abilities he's first and foremost a singer-songwriter at heart. Although one Ceschi song may consist of punk influenced machine gun fast raps, the next may be a quiet folk ballad played on acoustic guitar.
Since the release of 2010's Dj Scientist produced conceptual psych-rock inspired hip hop record "The One Man Band Broke Up" Ceschi spent the last few years collaborating with an innumerable amount of today's most talented MC's, producers and artists of multiple genres including Sage Francis, Astronautalis & Radical Face. He's toured throughout North America, Europe, Asia & Australia with independent hip-hop heroes such as Busdriver & Sole and even created his own successful record label - Fake Four, Inc.- that many of these artists now call home.

LITTLE BOOKS:
The Little Books is a two piece band from Jacksonville, FL that makes garage folk indie island goth music. It's members Robin Rütenberg and Rick Colado have been fixtures in the Jacksonville music scene for years, both having there hands in a handful of music projects and bands. The sound of the band is born from their highly collaborative writing process and multi-instrumental nature: Robin plays keyboard, guitar, flute, percussion and sings and Rick plays, guitar, percussion, harmonica, melodica and sings. Their voices take turns as the lead and give the songs a dynamic quality that only a male and female vocal together can produce. The band has recorded a full length record called "Bridges And Empires" set to be released in 2014 and they are already in he studio recording their follow up record.

MIKAL kHill:
Mikal kHill is an emcee, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Charlotte, NC. Finding an aesthetic somewhere between the 90's hiphop grooves of Pete Rock and the biting wit, melody and earnestness of Andrew Jackson Jihad, kHill has crafted three albums worth of solo material, as well as being the co-creator of the Browncoats and Slytherin House Mixtapes with Adam WarRock. He has performed countless shows all over the United States with artists as varied as Ceschi Ramos, MC Frontalot, Louis Logic, Random, Tribe One, Astronautalis, Sole, Awol One, Schaffer the Darklord, Sage Francis and more, and is a four-time official showcasing artist at SXSW. Described as "the Elliott Smith of nerdcore" by Z of Wired's GeekDad, his music is engaging and emotionally resonant, creating music that blurs the line between progressive hiphop and nerd-rap with musical competence and style.
