Pudding Day
Pudding Day is a reverently irreverent one boi show about the life Kelli Dunham shared with the woman she call her Queen, bad ass burlesque diva and activist Heather MacAllister. It traces the development of a freaky, epic romance in the usual way, with sarcasm and occasional lapses into a Snoopy Dance.
A reception/open mic will take place after the show so that the community can share some of their memories of Heather and her legacy.
Partial proceeds from the San Francisco performance of Pudding Day will go to support V Kingsley's blog on alotoflife.com. V Kinsley is a long term survivor of both Follicular Lymphoma and a rare and terminal allergic reaction to the cancer itself. V's Version "is an unabashedly personal blog from the perspective of a formerly-blind quilter, a feminist home-schooling mother, a powerhouse cancer fighter for 6 years running and an avid journal writer since 1974."
Tickets are sliding scale $7-$15. Just choose the amount you want to pay. This event is no one turned away for lack of funds, please email Kelli directly kellidunham@gmail if you'd like to arrange a different price. Thanks to the folks at the Dark Room for making this possible!
