SPECIAL EVENT Come see our production of Hamlet, directed by Elizabeth Watt, then have dinner with Anon It Moves and String House Theatre company and cast members. After dinner you'll be treated to an evening performance of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, directed by Emily Gregory.
HAMLET The dead King will not rest and calls Hamlet to be his avenger.Consumed with grief and further transformed by the betrayal of her first love,Hamlet determines to overcome her melancholy and avenge her father's apparent murder. With the Spirit world awake, fingers of inevitable doom begin to unravel the kingdom. Will anyone survive?
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead follows two minor characters from Hamlet as they navigate the dusty corners and fateful fringes of Shakespeare's epic tragedy in what is perhaps the most intelligent and inspired fanfiction in all of contemporary theatre. Missteps through memory, blunders at court, identities construed and misconstrued, and a particularly foreboding encounter with the law of probability all make this a delightful and illuminating companion to the most classic tale of all.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC
