LA Explorers Club: Downtown LA Bike Tour
Heck yes...The inaugural Los Angeles Explorers Club ride! You'll want to be here for this. Get a ground floor experience of Downtown LA before it became the city we know today packed full of stories, slander and secrets of how it all began.
The ride gathers at Artisan House in Downtown LA for some registration-mingle-beer thirty shenanigans before we pedal off to start the ride. We'll make a handful of cool stops and hear some stories about old Downtown LA as it was mapping its way into the history books. We'll end the ride at Villains Tavern (1356 Palmetto St.) around 6:30pm for some music, beers and good times. Sorta like the old tv show, but different.
So step right up and grab a ticket.
$10 donation includes:
Two complimentary New Belgium beer tokens redeemable same day at either starting and/or ending location
Custom and collectable LA Explorers Club swag- #2 pencil and iron-on patch.
Plus! This money goes to our non-profit partner, C.I.C.L.E., to support their Learn to Ride education program.
$25 donation includes:
Three complimentary New Belgium beer tokens redeemable same day at either the starting/ending/or both locations.
Custom and collectable LA Explorers Club swag- #2 pencil and bike+beer journal, iron on patch, and custom screen-printed tote bag.
Things that we need to mention but they aren't as fun:
Riders must have competent bicycle handling skills for riding in the road and with traffic. Must be 21yrs or older to participate- bring your id. Must provide your own bicycle in good working condition. Must bring your own lock. Must follow the rules of the road. No drinking alcohol while riding.
