Alexander Woo (True Blood), Nancy Pimental (Shameless) and Dan O'Keefe (Silicon Valley) will be discussing life in the writer's room and the challenges of the cable broadcasting paradigm. They will also share their secrets for writing addictive pages, laying in advanced season and character arcs, and making it all look sexy and effortless. Drinks, snacks, and hot people included.

About Alexander Woo:
Alexander Woo is a playwright, screenwriter, and writer/producer for television. He served as Executive Producer on HBO's "True Blood," earning an Emmy nomination, two Golden Globe nominations, and two NAACP Image Award nominations. He is also the creator of two current pilot projects, "Headhunters"  for HBO, and "Bombingham" for AMC. His other staff credits include the Emmy-nominated Showtime series "Sleeper Cell," the NBC series LAX, and the FOX series "Wonderfalls." On film, he wrote the screen adaptation of "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" at HBO through Harpo Films.

About Nancy Pimental:
Nancy M. Pimental got a degree in chemical engineering. She then did what all engineers do: moved to LA to perform comedy. Her writing career began with a spec of "South Park", a screenplay "The Sweetest Thing" starring Cameron Diaz, and a pilot starring Jenny McCarthy. Nancy was nominated for 2 Emmy's for her writing on "South Park" and co-hosting "Win Ben Stein's Money". She won neither. Nancy is currently an executive producer/writer on "Shameless" and a consulting producer on "The Newsroom".

About Dan O'Keefe:
Dan O'Keefe is a writer and co-executive producer on HBO's "Silicon Valley." In the past, he has worked on shows including "Married" (FX), "The League" (FX), "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC), "Seinfeld" (NBC), "Marriedwith Children" (FOX), "The Tonight Show" (NBC), and has written for magazines including National Lampoon.
