Wit's End & the Dorothy parker society proudly present: A Night of Hot Jazz Decadence at the
Hot & Lowdown Speakeasy with Portland's Pink Lady! With bandleader Jesse Gelber!
It's going to be hot, so come in your best jazz age lingerie, finest 1920s & 30s vintage or vintage inspired evening attire and celebrate in style with live hot nasty jazz and cold vintage cocktails in an authentic 1920s speakeasy (Texas Guinan's Club Intime, now at Flute Midtown, 205 W. 54th Street at Broadway)!
Our co-sponsor is the Dorothy Parker Society (dorothyparker.com), the drinking club with a book problem.
Dress code: Jacket and tie, vintage or vintage-inspired, Jazz Age, evening wear, cocktail attire and of course, seasonal! 1920s, 30s and 40s vintage lingerie is encouraged!
Doors open at 8pm Free Dance Lesson - 8:30pm! Saturday, July 26th, 2014 8pm to Midnight At Flute Midtown 205 W. 54th (near Broadway)
