This lunchtime presentation will provide valuable legal strategies to secure payment for your artwork or artistic services and explain the legal remedies available when you don't get paid what you're owed. Our attorney presenters from Graham & Dunn PC will cover:

Presenters:
Jeff Nelson
Jeff is an attorney in Graham & Dunn PC's Intellectual Property group. He counsels clients on a broad range of issues including trademark and copyright protection and enforcement, licensing, music rights, and internet issues. He regularly works with artists to protect their work and with companies to properly license music for a variety of uses. Jeff also has significant experience resolving administrative disputes at the US Patent & Trademark Office. He is a member of the Board of Directors of WLA and formerly volunteered at legal clinics for ArtServe Michigan.

Claire Molesworth
Claire is an attorney at Graham & Dunn PC whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation. Claire is experienced in handling a variety of business disputes, including cases involving banking, real estate, and contract issues. Her experience with bank clients includes workout and collection cases, regulatory investigations, and lender liability matters. Claire is actively involved in the arts community in Seattle and is a member of the Board of Directors of Artist Trust and former volunteer for ArtsFund. Prior to attending law school, Claire worked as Director of Events & Marketing for Seattle Arts & Lectures.
