"From Piaf To Mambo Italiano" starring Maria Elena Infantino
Ms. Infantino's singing and acting credits are long and extensive, with much of her success performing in concerts, film, and television in her hometown of London, England, where she has lived since the age of 18, but often travels throughout Europe and the US to perform. Classically trained in opera, she followed in her parent's footsteps, both opera singers, her father is famed tenor Luigi Infantino. One of her most memorable accomplishments was to be invited to appear with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Royal Albert Hall by Dame Shirley Bassey for the Beatles 50th Anniversary star-studded concert where she performed Do You Want To Know A Secret, with the recording of the single going on to be a hit on it's own.
Maria Elena Infantino in "From Piaf To Mambo Italiano", with Joel Baker on piano, is Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2 PM and is presented by Les Michaels' Sundays In Summer Series.
