IF WE WERE BIRDS is a shocking, uncompromising examination of the horrors of war, giving voice to a woman long ago forced into silence, and placing a spotlight on millions of female victims who have been silenced through violence, delivered through the lens of Greek tragedy. Winner of the 2011 Governor General's Award for Dramaa, IF WE WERE BIRDS is beautiful, bloody, and brutal new play.

FEATURING: Ethan Bjelland, Katherine Engel, Suzi Gard, Cynthia Hornbeck, Jill Iverson, Tara Lucchino, Laura Mason, Dann Peterson, Siddeeqah Shabazz, and Dana Lee Thompson

PRODUCTION TEAM: Karen Tait (scenic/prop design), Chandler Daily (ASM), Jenna Rose Graupmann (costume design), Anita Kelling (sound design), Reena Novotnak (stage manager), Rachael Rhoades (production manager), Jessica Smith (fight director), and Courtney Schmitz (lighting design).

Performance runs approximately 80 minutes without intermission.

TICKETS are $5-$25 Sliding Scale - pay what you can in that range.

All tickets are will-call. Once purchased your tickets will be held under your name at the theatre for pick up prior to the performance you are going to attend. All seating is general admission - what you pay has nothing to do with where you sit.
