Comedians You Should Know and The Blackout Diaries Present: Mick Betancourt (Live CD Recording)
For one night only, two of the most critically-acclaimed comedy shows in Chicago are collaborating on a special CD recording: Comedians You Should Know and The Blackout Diaries will come together on July 12th to record a CD. Headlining this show is Mick Betancourt, who will be burying his drinking stories in a final performance.
Mick has appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, NBC and more as a standup and he has written or produced for such popular shows at Law & Order SVU, Breakout Kings, Detroit 187 and more. He is presently a consulting producer for Chicago PD on NBC. He is also an amazing storyteller and former lunatic who is now sober and will be sharing some of his craziest drinking stories for a final night in his hometown of Chicago.
This show is a unique combination of stand-up comedy, drinking tales and audience participation that should not be missed. The show is sponsored by Jeppson's Malort, which will be giving away t-shirts to who ever can describe that flavor best. The show is hosted by Blackout Diaries creator Sean Flannery.
