ISTHMUS BRASS
"Love is like a Brass Band" wrote Joni Mitchell. She was right. That's why we are proud to present ISTHMUS BRASS, comprised of the finest brass players in the Midwest. Established in 2009 in Madison, Wisconsin, ISTHMUS BRASS is made up of brass faculty members of UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, and UW-Whitewater, playing a variety of music from classical to jazz. ISTHMUS BRASS is conducted by John Stevens, a Madison musical icon.
