Abandon your romantic notions and join us for an evening of dystopia, a delving into the dark, seedy, undesirable facets of life, community and society that may or may not reflect our surrounding reality. But don't worry--we won't let Big Brother in the door..
The variety show is an event, held regularly at the Chthonic Theater warehouse space in Oakland, that showcases local talent in an intimate setting. Past performers have included singers, musicians, dancers, magicians, actors, comedians, improvisation troupes, storytellers, poets, writers, and other talented artists. Not your average talent show or open mic, the variety show is a curated event that features some reoccurring acts as well as new performers each time.
