Summer Semester With Wayward Girls School Of Burlesque
Each workshop is $10, book all five for $40!
5:30-6:00 pm - Workshop 1: Why Burlesque? with Lavender Menace and Leo Tuxedo. An introduction and interactive discussion about burlesque, self-expression, and body and sex positivity
6:00-6:30 - Workshop 2: Burlesque Accessories with Ruby Rouge and Susie Sketchman. Learn to make pasties and hair fascinators! Materials provided, additional $10 fee
6:30-7:00 - Workshop 3: Acting and Character with Cat Schrodinger. Understanding character in performance and connecting with your audience.
7:00-8:00 - Workshop 4: Burlesque Beauty with Kitty Killton. Tutorial on hair and makeup, materials provided, additional $5 fee, photos available with Chase Henderson, $25 for 2 prints and 8 digital images.
8:00-8:30 - Workshop 5: Burlesque Dance Basics with Luna L'Enfant and Penny Maple. Basic burlesque moves for all levels, and learn the Wayward Girls dance! Bring comfortable clothing for movement, dance shoes, clean sneakers, or bare feet.
Please pay workshop fees to Kanawha Players Theater (cash or credit), bring cash for additional materials fees to pay Wayward Girls School of Burlesque.
