Brooklyn Boy
After writing two esoteric novels that sell little, Eric Weiss finally produces a bestseller with a story that uses his years growing up in Brooklyn as inspiration. He swears the characters are fictional, but those who know him know better. With success, Eric finds that he's connected with an audience, but is unable to connect with those closest to him. "Full of aching ruefulness that underlies the comedy, (the) scenes are written with precisions and humor. The play isn't about Brooklyn, nor is it about a boy is about a man without a home."
