Hendrix Acoustic Trio at Presidio Theatre
The Hendrix Acoustic Trio will perform an all Hendrix show on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, 7:30-8:45 PM at Presidio Theatre on Chestnut Street in San Francisco.
Employing piccolo, flute, alto flute, bass flute, sopranino and soprano saxes, alto and tenor saxes, and two bass saxophones...as well as a hand made acoustic guitar and vocals doing some of Hendrix most beautiful ballads like:
Angel, Little Wing, May This Be Love, Hey Joe and The Wind Cries Mary.
Straight, screamin', rock songs like Fire, I Don't Live Today, and If 6 was 9.
Also, mad cap tunes like Manic Depression on two bass saxophones and the perennial favorite...Purple Haze!
Tickets are $15 at the door, or $12.50 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets or through the Presidio Theater, prior to the day of performance.
It'll be beautiful music...and fun
