Baker Lodge Wildflower Week Aug. 1-8
Join others in enjoying the beautiful North Cascades during summer. The powder snow has given way to wildflower meadows, grouse, and marmots. A variety of hikes begin after breakfast. You can sit atop a ridge or next to a lake eating lunch. Come back to Baker Lodge for dinner. Watch the sunrise behind Mt. Shuksan, see it turn pink in the evening from the dining room.
A day at the lodge starts with dinner (6pm) and goes through lunch the next day. Wildflower Week provides 3 meals per day, accommodating carnivores to vegans, gluten-free, plus nut & dairy-free JUST give us your dietary needs at signup.
Sign up for a day or three or the whole week. First day, drop off your gear, explore, and join us for dinner. Bring a camera with your sleeping bag & personal towel.
The lodge has 3 European style dorms: single women, families, and single men. Evenings are for star gazing or walking around Picture Lake, playing cards or games, talking, & story telling.
Prices per day are extended event rates since lunch will be served (Aug. 2-8). Signs ups for this event close at 6 pm on July 27. Make sure you sign up for all nights you intend to stay. Families with children five or under should call the host prior to registering.
When you register for this event you will only see an option for "Will call" for delivery methods. This is normal. It just means that no physical ticket will be mailed to you. You will also see a map that shows the location of the lodge in Glacier, WA. This is not the location of the lodge. Please refer to the Baker Lodge website for all information about the lodge, including directions.
