Green Generations hosted by San Francisco Green Drinks
San Francisco Green Drinks (SFGD) invites the Bay Area green community to Green Generations, a fundraising gala for established organizations that provide environmental education to underserved children.
Designed as a unique opportunity to have fun, expand green networking and give back to local non-profits, Green Generations takes place on Friday, August 14th from 5-9 PM in the highly suitable Temple Nightclub, the most green venue of its kind in San Francisco.
Educational organizations benefiting from our fundraising will be on hand to offer discuss volunteer opportunities and program information about the inspiring work they are doing.
Beneficiaries include:
* Literacy for Environmental Justice (LEJ) - Bay Youth for the Environment
* Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT) - Youth Wilderness Program
* Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (SCVAS) - Wetlands Discovery Program
"By supporting eco-education for children in need, we are helping to ensure that environmental awareness is carried forward to future generations," said Missi Hirt, board member of SFGD. "The gala is a special opportunity for the green community to unite under one roof and support an enduring educational cause."
Entertainment will include legendary dance music DJs Scott Carrelli, Duserock, DJ Fiddler, and Dutch! Savory Organic Appetizers, Green Drink Menu, Raffle Prizes, Networking Opportunities, and other Fun Surprises!
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Admission to nightclub until close (4am) included. All proceeds will be donated towards nature tours or similar educational activities for groups of children.

San Francisco Green Drinks (SFGD) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that actively promotes green networking, education and volunteer events in the Bay Area.
