MATTERS OF THE HEART: WHAT EVERY PERSON NEEDS TO KNOW TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY HEART
Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in men and women. In this unique seminar presented by Community Memorial Health System, Dr. Steinberg will present an overview of cardiovascular disease and provide necessary knowledge to recognize this deadly disease, as well as prevention strategies to combat cardiovascular disease. Dr. Steinberg will also discuss important gender differences and biases in diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. ___________________________________________________________
Dr. Alon Steinberg received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his fellowship training in cardiology at University of Florida Hospitals. Dr. Steinberg also did additional training in Cardiac CT and MRI at the Berlin Heart Institute. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Steinberg is Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Community Memorial Hospital. He has appeared on CNN and HLN as an expert in his field.
