11.30am : Visit to walled gardens, lakes and the landform 'Orpheus' by Kim Wilkie
12.00 - 1.00 Private view of Tessa Traeger's exhibition called Calligraphy of Dance the artist's interpretation of 17th century dance choreographic notation combined with details of family portraits
1pm : Buffet lunch including vegetarian option, with glass of wine, wheelchair access 2.00 - 4.00pm House tours in groups
2.00 - 4.00pm Jennifer Thorp's half hour dance demonstrations with Irène Feste, Hubert Hazebroucq from Paris, experts in interpreting 17th century dance choreography. They will be re-creating dances found in the historic family music collection housed at Boughton
There will be two musicians - harpsichord and flute. The music will be by Lully and other 17th / 18th century composers.
4pm : Tea and cake
4.30 - 5.00pm Poetry reading by Ruth Rosen of poetry and prose contemporary to the exhibition
Carriages at 5pm
The exhibition will be shown at Boughton House for one day only and later at The Purdy Hicks Gallery for the month of February 2015 The framed pictures shown at the exhibition are for sale and in editions of 8, prices can be obtained from Purdy Hicks Gallery. No 1 of the editions will remain at Boughton House and can be seen by collectors by special arrangement.
