Red House Live - Peter Ostroushko Concert
Peter Ostroushko is an Emmy Award winning composer and is regarded as one of the finest mandolin and fiddle players in acoustic music. He has played on over a thousand albums beginning with an uncredited mandolin performance on Bob Dylan's masterpiece Blood on the Tracks. Since then he's played country, bluegrass, folk, jazz, and classical with artists ranging from Willie Nelson to the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra in Moscow. Ostroushko has appeared on television shows including Late Night with David Letterman, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, and Austin City Limits. He was a regular performer and music director for A Prairie Home Companion and his music has been used by filmmaker Ken Burns in the acclaimed PBS documentaries Lewis and Clark and The National Parks: America's Best Idea. In 2005, Peter won an Emmy Award for his original score for the PBS series Minnesota: A History of the Land. Peter lives in Minneapolis, where he was raised.
Landmark Center and Red House Records' popular concert series "Red House Live" returns for a fourth year in the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at St. Paul's historic Landmark Center. Hosted by various local radio personalities, these concerts will begin at 8 pm and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets are $18 in advance and includes admission to the cocktail hour.
All ticket sales are final. Seating will be assigned by Minnesota Landmarks in the order that orders are received. All tickets will be held at will-call for pick up the day of the performance.
