Sweet Summer Solstice Potluck
June 21st is the longest day of the year! Enjoy those extra hours of sunshine by joining Slow Food Chicago, the Chicago Honey Co-op, and Christy Webber Landscapes for our annual Sweet Summer Solstice Potluck Supper!
A highlight of our calendar every year, the Sweet Summer Solstice Potluck is a community picnic at Rancho Verde, the LEED-certified headquarters of Christy Webber Landscapes. We'll be giving tours of the Chicago Honey Co-op hives installed on its green roof! A great family-friendly event!
We'll provide a main course and beverages, you can bring chairs or a blanket, and a potluck dish for sharing salad, side dish or dessert.
We'll be pouring cider from Virtue Cider, wine from Candid Wines and beer from Begyle Brewing! To accompany the potluck, we'll be noshing on bread from Crumb Bread, and enjoying beautiful White Fish from Fortune Fish Company with an Slow Food Ark of Taste sauce and prepared by Chef Jeannine Wise, Slow Food Chicago Board Member
Tickets will also be available at the door!
(Rain date June 22nd. If weather is an issue, we will call the event on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Please check our website, slowfoodchicago.org for updates.)
