Kitchen Dog Theater presents LONG WAY GO DOWN by Zayd Dohrn

The play: A young Mexican couple is trapped at a way station when they can't pay off their debts to the American coyotes who smuggled them across the border. The playwright: Playwright of KDT's 2008 hit Sick, Zayd Dohrn received his MFA from NYU and is currently a Lila Acheson Wallace Fellow at Juilliard. His plays have been produced and developed at The Public Theater, Woolly Mammoth, Marin Theatre Company, South Coast Repertory, The Alliance, Kitchen Dog, Magic Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, American Theater Company, Southern Rep, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, and New Jersey Rep. He is a recipient of Lincoln Center's Lecomte du Nouy Prize, the Sky Cooper Prize, the Jean Kennedy Smith Award, an IRNE for Best New Play, and residencies with Ars Nova, Chautauqua, and the Royal Court Theatre of London.
