TownMusic: Jun Iwasaki & Grace Fong
Town Hall's chamber-music series opens its season with a performance by violinist Jun Iwasaki, concertmaster of the Oregon Symphony, and critically-acclaimed pianist Grace Fong, performing virtuosic works from the Romantic recital repertoire. Former concertmaster of the Canton Symphony Orchestra and member of the conductor-less chamber ensemble Sejong, Iwasaki is a recent graduate of Cleveland Institute of Music's prestigious Concertmaster Academy, where he also earned his bachelor's and master's of music degrees. Prize-winning pianist Grace Fong has gained critical acclaim in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, making appearances at major venues around the world.
