Touch - RhetOracle Dance Company
RhetOracle Dance Company presents a night of contemporary jazz works that explore the basic need we, as humans, have to be physically and emotionally touched, what happens when we aren't, and what the wrong kind of touch can do to us. The night of 8 dances, featuring choreography by artistic director and Lester Horton nominee Nate Hodges, Lester Horton nominee Christopher Liu, Bri Allard, Bryana Verner and special guest choreographer Keri LaGrand, will take you on a raw journey into one of our most deeply felt wants and needs: to be touched. The night will also have a special encore of "Siren", a dance about self-induced paranoia and our distrust of each other in today's society, that debuted to an overwhelming audience reaction at Jamie Nichols' SOLD OUT 2009 Celebrate Dance.
