Featuring: Elizabeth Star Bilyck, Drea Brown, Richard Kevin Cartwright IV, Mai Doan, Victoria Gannon, Betty Johnson, Carolyn Kameya, Carrie Leilam Love, Kenji Liu, Karim Scarlata and Vidhu Singh, with special readings by Jewelle Gomez and Truong Tran.
A unique literary workshop for emerging writers, the IWL develops and expands participants' writing skills and styles by providing opportunities to work with emerging and established writers from various genres and engage them in new explorations of form and language. The 8-week intensive workshop led by accomplished writers and artists Jewelle Gomez and Truong Tran with two of SF's oldest interdisciplinary arts organizations culminates in this reading and online anthology launch. Join us as these emerging literary voices share their newly developed work.
