The Pied Piper of Hamelin
When rats besiege the good folk of Hamelin and the Piper appears, offering a swift cure for reasonable payment. After the rats have been drowned and the Piper presents his bill, they refuse to pay. The Pipers magic tune changes as he spirits away the towns children - all except one lame child.
