Cider in the Summer
Cider, America's original drink, is first and foremost an agricultural product. Apples are harvested and pressed in the fall, the cider fermented in winter, bottled and aged in the spring, and mature in time for summer.
Join us for a week-long summer celebration of this delicious and versatile beverage from Monday 6/23 to Sunday 6/29.
The week-long tap-takeover (no admission) features new release ciders from the following producers: Aaron Burr Cider (Wurtsboro, NY) - "Scrumpy in the Gunks" in a rye whiskey cask Annandale Cidery (Annandale-on-Hudson, NY) Sidra Castañón (Asturias, Spain) Christian Drouin (Normandy, France) Domaine Dupont (Normandy, France) Eve's Cidery (Van Etten, NY) Farnum Hill Cider (Lebanon, NH) - special kegging of Extra Dry for this event Slyboro Ciderhouse (Granville, NY) Virtue Cider (Fennville, MI)
Two Cider Dinners will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 6/24-6/25. Dinner attendees will have a chance to preview Descendant Cider, Queens' first cidery.
