More Details About the Performers: Hailing from the Pennsylvania- based musical powerhouse, This Way to the Egress comes Lady Egress, a comedic musical-songstress, spinning tales about sex, love, life, and religious satire with a bawdy and slightly inappropriate twist. It has been said that "She is the love child of Liza Minnelli and Tom Waits." Although Lady Egress' primary instrument is the piano, she cleverly rocks the violin, accordion, and guitar making her a multi-faceted , multi-instrumentalist with the most. She has been featured in The New York Times, and part of the featured act for Tony Hsieh (CEO- of Zappo's) Las Vegas- speakeasy celebration. She has toured extensively both nationally and internationally and as the main support of independent and D.I.Y superstars such as Voltaire, as well as the European cabaret sensation Mr. Joe Black and now, she will be coming to a town near you.
Flapper, tapper, and Gal about town, Kristen Minsky is a neo-vaudevillian thru-and-thru and probably best known as one half of New York's "1920s tap sensations", The Minsky Sisters. In addition, she is the Director of Chifferobe Events and Providence RI's only vintage dance company, The TropiGals. Her background includes a BFA in Studio Art and Performance Studies from NYU and an MFA in Sculpture from RISD, as well as working with the production team for PERFORMA, New York's world-class biennial focused on visual arts performance. She has been written about in The New York Times, Providence Journal, and Providence Phoenix, illustrated in The New Yorker, and pictured in The New York Post, among others. Reggie Bügmüncher, Philadelphias Queen of Sideshow, is co-owner/operator of Philadelphia's Olde City Sideshow and Curator of The First Banana, A Performance Art Space & Gallery. She has been performing in the Variety Arts, specifically Sideshow, across the country, for almost a decade. Reggie has been written about and interviewed for numerous publications from CARNY SIDESHOWS: WEIRD WONDERS OF THE MIDWAY, by Tony Gangi and Marianne Bernstein's book, Tatted and numerous Tattoo magazines including Tattoos for Women, Tattoo Revue and others, The Philadelphia City Paper, The Philadelphia Inquirer and countless reporting outlets including NPR.
Ecdysiast Eyrie Twilight has been showing off her signature shake since the spring of 2009. Since graduating from the Sugar Shack Burlesque inaugural class in Richmond, VA, Eyrie has taken her show on the road performing the art of the tease in across the country. In 2010 the Queen of Halloween joined forces with Mourna Handful to form Black Tassel Boolesque, the Washington, DC's first and only goth burlesque group. Her style has been described as "a spooky twist on classic striptease" and is noted for her luxe, opulent costuming. In addition to her troupe endeavors, Eyrie produces "Beauty + Brains" a monthly showcase of her favorite burlesque, belly dance and sideshow acts at Philadelphia's Bourbon & Branch. She is also a member of the amazing EDM gogo troupe Electrocute!
