Sara Thomsen Somewhere to Begin Release in Minneapolis
Sara Thomsen will perform songs from her new 2014 album Somewhere to Begin at the Avalon Theater in Minneapolis. Advance tickets are $15. $20 at the door day of show.
"The kind of music she's making is well-crafted, sung beautifully, and recorded immaculately," writes the Duluth News Tribune in their review. Somewhere to Begin is Thomsen's fifth solo CD. The Reader Weekly describes the album as "deep and well written" with "excellent songwriting and storytelling."
Thomsen's song off the new CD, "Precious Water," received a Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Songwriting Competition Award!
The concert will be held 7:30pm, June 20 at the Avalon Theater, 1500 East Lake Street, Minneapolis.
