Peach Jam 2014

Peach Jam events will take place the final week of June at four farmers markets across the city. Peach Jam is free for all guests at attend. There are small entry fees to complete - please register here to be a contestant in one of the four competitions.

BBQ Sauce Competition: at Decatur Farmers Market on June 25th. Winners will be chosen by the crowd through the "vote with your fork" method. We will be selling plates of pork shoulder and grilled veggies to pair with the sauce, as well as peach tea from Revolution Doughnuts.

Peach Cocktail Competition: On Thursday, June 26th we will host the Peach Cocktail contest featuring Atlanta's top mixologists making peach and market-inspired cocktails with tastings available to those 21 and up for $3/sample. Winners for this contest will be selected by a panel of judges. We will also be selling 12oz peach beers donated from Terrpin as well as the previous year winning cocktail.

Peach Jam and Jelly Competition: The Decatur Farmers Market on Saturday, June 28th will host a peach jam and jelly contest where customers can purchase biscuits to pair with their jams and will vote with their spoons.

Cobbler Competition: The final event will be held at the Grant Park Farmers Market with "all things peachy" for sale by our vendors and an amateur cobbler contest at 11am. Samples for this contest will be sold for $1 and a panel of judges will select the winner.
