Each band member dedicates every drop of his education, history, and life-long passion for music to their audience every time they step on stage. Garaj Mahal's current release and third studio album, wOOt, is the result of years spent honing their musical relationship on the road. Their last album, Harmonized Records' Blueberry Cave was a winner in the 2007 Independent Music Awards, whose esteemed panel of judges include Peter Gabriel, Ozzy Osbourne, McCoy Tyner, Paul Oakenfold, Suzanne Vega, Cyndi Lauper, Marc Ribot, Buddy Guy, David Grisman, Bebel Gilberto, Bill Frisell, Rob Wasserman and FatBoy Slim. The album was selected as the Winner of the Album - Jam category from the largest number of entries the program has received to date, according to award organizers Music Resource Group. Their latest release is already getting rave reviews and is out now on Owl Studios.
