Witness the birth of Rock-n-Roll in John Water's Baltimore of 1954! Johnny Depp is Cry Baby, a juvenile delinquent greaser Drape from the wrong side of the tracks who drives the girls wild. Good girls want him bad. Bad girls want him worse. Allison is a Square from a good home and proper upbringing. she finds herself eagerly inhaling the evil influences of rockabilly music and fast cars. Her Square pals freak out about Allison slumming with the Drapes. It's going to be a drop down drag out battle of the Bands to settle the score!
