Field Drawing- Seeing Nature with an Artist's Eyes and Hands
Enjoy an introduction to field drawing techniques with popular Sonoma County artist and teacher Marsha Connell. Sharpen your observational skills of close-up and distant views and the patterns and structures of nature while exploring Pepperwood's meadows, oak woodlands, and beautiful vistas. You will build a drawing toolkit for future expeditions by learning gesture, contour, composition, perspective, shading, texture, and mark making. Hikers, scientists, beginning or experienced artists, students, and everyone in between are all welcome.
