School of Nimbus Dance Works Spring Recital 2014
The School of Nimbus Dance Works' Second Annual Spring Recital (and First since the school's move to NImbus' new facility on 3rd Street) takes places Saturday June 14th, 5pm. The recital will be held at Marian Hall at St. Mary's Church, adjacent to Nimbus' new dance facility. The Recital will feature students from all levels of the School of Nimbus Dance Works performing both classroom demonstrations as well as choreographer dance works. The Nimbus Repertory Ensemble, Nimbus' preprofessional company, will perform selections from their repertory, and special guest professional perfomers from Nimbus Dance Works round out this exciting showcase.
As The School of Nimbus Dance Works expands the scope of curriculum offered to local dance students and families, the Spring Recital becomes an increasingly important opportunity for youth to develop experience and skills performing dance onstage in from of an audience. The spectrum of performers at the Spring Recital will illustrate the development of students from beginners at the Ballet I level through to Advanced, pre-professional dancers working towards a career in the performing arts.
