Rat City Rollergirls Junior Derby Clinic
This camp will be postponed until Fall 2014.
The Rat Rollergirls are proud to present its Junior Derby clinic coached by the Rat City Rollergirls All-Stars. This clinic is open to all beginner and intermediate level skaters. At this 2-day clinic you will participate in:
Basic skills (skating form, speed, falls, and stops)
Agility and footwork
Blocking and containment
Hitting
Strategy concepts
Scrimmage
In addition we will be covering off-skate training and rules of the game. At this clinic you will have the opportunity to train with and receive feedback from the best skaters Rat City has to offer. If you want to take you game to the next level you cannot afford to miss this clinic.

We are happy to have Ethan Bitzer, Certified Fitness Trainer, lead the off-skate training session. Ethan brings years of personal training to take your derby game to the next level. This season Ethan is training our All Stars to be stronger, faster, and endure the challenges of top level play!
We are also glad to have Jalepeno Business, former Rat City All-Star, from Fast Girl Skates lead our skate gear workshop. She will show you everything you need to know about skates, plates, wheels, and much more.
The clinic will be held at the Rat City Rollergirls Rat's Nest
This clinic is open to skaters between the ages of 13-18. Parents/Guardian must sign liability waiver for underage skaters.

There will be a lunch break. Please bring your own lunch and snacks.
Bring skates, helmet, mouthguard, pads, water bottle, and pen & paper for notes!
