NY Pro-Am Brew P.I.T.

You are invited to a one-of-a-kind event featuring local brewers and the beers they inspire.

Prior to the event on August 9th, participating home brewers will meet with professional local craft brewers at their brewery, get a tour, share a beer, and talk shop. The home brewer will brew a beer inspired by that meeting and serve it alongside a beer of the professional brewer's choice.

Participating professional brewers include Finback Brewery, Flagship Brewing Company, Singlecut Beersmiths, Sixpoint, and Yonkers Brewing Co.

It's a chance to get up close and personal with the creators of your favorite local suds and the chance to taste the finest creations of the exploding local home brew scene. The beers they're creating today may become your new favorites in the future.

Additionally there will be some non-competing beers from the organizers and the fine folks at Bitter and Esters, who are generously sponsoring the event. Pretzels from local Pelzer's Pretzels will be provided for your noshing pleasure.

Beer from Covenhoven's 16 taps and extensive bottle collection will be available for purchase during the event.

One lucky home brewer will be chosen by audience voting to brew their beer at 508 Gastrobrewery with Chris Cuzme.

And for your imbibing pleasure, the beautiful backyard will be open (weather permitting).
