The Addams Family Musical

The Savannah Summer Theatre Institute presents "The Addams Family -

A New Musical Comedy". As the Southeastern premiere production of The

Addams Family, Savannah theatre audiences are among the first, outside

of Broadway and the national tour, to have the opportunity to see this

musical.

A family show, appropriate for all ages, The Addams Family features all

the creepy and kooky characters we love from the original TV series.

However, things have changed. Little Wednesday Addams has grown up

and the family faces a very common challenge - love, marriage and the

need for two very different families to meet and blend together. As the

family plans a wedding, the laughs are plenty as we discover "unusual"

depends upon your definition of normal.

Entering its 7th year, the Institute is nationally recognized and attracts

an international enrollment of outstanding young theatre performers. It

offers Savannah theatre audiences a unique opportunity to see exciting

productions of contemporary musicals while supporting and encouraging

the development of our next generation of theater talent.
