The Jeff Brown Trio:
One of the freshest voices on today's regional jazz scene, pianist Jeff Brown has performed and recorded with leading jazz innovators such as Dave Douglas, Anthony Braxton, Han Hennink and the ICP Orchestra of Amsterdam. Brown was recently awarded residencies at Banfee Centre in Canada and the Foundation Royaumont in France. The Jeff Brown Trio's sound is highly influenced by South American, European, Canadian and Caribbean influences.
Tommy Gearhart and his Hammond B3 Trio:
Jazz crooning vocalist, Tommy Gearhart presents his world-class Hammond B3 Trio featuring Steve Figueroa, Tony Cesarano and Chase Ellison! Tommy's trio offers heartfelt jazz phrasing, blending original lyrics collaged amongst already existing, intoxicating, jazz melodies. The result is a delicious hybrid of music that is somehow familiar and yet unequivocally original. Expect fresh arrangements of a few long- forgotten, beautiful jazz standards, coupled with new arrangements from the Great American Songbook! It's going to be a rare, distinctly unique evening of Jazz Under the Stars!
