The Continuum
Muntu invites you to experience a timeless journey of movement, music, and song. 'The Continuum' will take you on a spell binding journey of past and present works with a peek into the future of Muntu's solid legacy.
The Continuum will feature special guest performers
Amina Dickerson and Seneke West African Percussion Ensemble. There will be an original work by Moustapha Bangoura, who will also be performing with the company.
For the first time, Muntu will feature student performers from the Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts). This residency was facilitated and choreographed specifically for the students by Artistic Director Amaniyea Payne and Assistant Director Idy Ciss.
Guest Host: Cassieopeia Sledge
Concert: 7pm Gala Reception Dinner immediately following the performance. There will be a wonderful Silent Auction, Live Entertainment, and Dancing.
