Foodways 4 - Chocolate Delights: Morning, Noon and Night
Come join us as our popular Foodways instructor, Laura Schultz, MSN, CHC, cooks up a myriad of delectables featuring the world's most popular flavor: chocolate. Sample chocolate as you would wine, learn about types of chocolate, and how to pair chocolate with other foods. Take home a jar of healthy, chocolate breakfast pudding, concoct a vinaigrette for a strawberry salad, sample 5-way chili, learn to bake an unusual stove-top cake, and individual chocolate souffles.
And there's more! We are thrilled to have master story-teller, Gary Lloyd, with us. Gary has been telling stories for over 16 years and was featured at the Fairfax City's Chocolate Lovers Festival for the past 9 years. He will be sharing a few of his unique chocolate-covered fairy tales from his signature program. He says his tales melt in your ears, not on your hands! Zero calories.
And then there's You! Have you ever had a pivotal chocolate moment? Oh...remember the guilt at getting into the candy box when you were 7 years old? Everyone has a chocolate story...come share yours!
