King Arthur: A Picnic Operetta (September 14th)
The Picnic Operetta returns with a lively telling of Henry Purcell's 1684 English Baroque opera. King Arthur has gathered the elite Knights of the Round Table to expand their empire. But they face a brand new threat -- a bull headed generation of young knights determined to see Camelot destroyed. Will the Wizards Merlin and Morgana use their powers to destroy the kingdom, or will they use their magic to bring new prosperity? And who will be king?
ASL interpretation will be offered on this performance
Swede Hollow Accessible Parking: Mixed Precipitation will create and mark accessible spots for patron use. Site Accessibility: For patrons needing assistance, particularly those with wheelchairs, we recommend bringing a companion along to help navigate the space. The site has a paved road down to the performance location and is open, flat and grassy. However there is a long walk to the performance location and the grass can be rather thick. There is no accessible restroom at this site. We recommend that patrons with mobility challenges or those who use wheelchairs choose another performance site in order to have the best experience of the operetta.
