Del Shores "The Storyteller"

From the twisted mind behind Sordid Lives, Southern Baptist Sissies and Dady's Dyin... Who's Got the Will Del Shores will share the real life stories that have inspired his writing and more in Del Shores The Storyteller. Yes, there was a man with two wooden legs. But did his grandmother trip over them and die while having a sordid affair? And did his mother really ask What exactly do you dowhen you are gay? If so, what was the acclaimed writers response (Sordid Lives)? Yes, prayers were answered and a matching vein was found in a vein bank over in Baton Rogue to replace his Uncle Humpty's collapsed vein. But did Humpty lose the leg after all those prayers (Southern Baptist Sissies)? And what relative really shot a policeman in the saliva gland and shoulder (Trailer Trash Housewife)? Truth and fiction are finally separated in Del Shores The Storyteller.

Del will be telling the stories behind the stories and dishing the dirt from his work including Queer as Folk, The "Housewives", Queer as Folk and Perez Hilton!!

Del Shores is a GLAAD, LOS ANGELES DRAMA CRITICS' CIRCLE, LA WEEKLY (Career Achievement Award 2005), BACKSTAGE WEST GARLAND and NAACP award-winning writer, producer, director, playwright and actor. He is also known as a gay activist and was recently included in Out Magazine's "Out 100 2008" along with his husband Jason Dottley whose Ovation-nominated producing skills are back in gear producing "Del Shores The Storyteller".

"Terrific! Filled with delicious show-biz dish, bawdy gags, laughs aplenty, and even a tear or two." - Backstage

With Special Appearances by:

Producer and "Sordid Lives: The Series" star Jason Dottley takes a new turn as a dance floor diva with his hit single "Hit Play (Take Me Away)" feat. HiTPLAY.  Ya'll know Jason from his role as super sexy Ty on Sordid Lives: The Series.
