Manure Composting & Management: Conquering Mount Manure
Have more manure that you know what to do with? Learn tips, techniques and strategies for composting and managing manure that can reduce pile size, create a valuable soil amendment, improve animal health, reduce pests, and keep our water clean. This workshop will cover composting practices, manure storage plans, options for using or getting rid of your manure, how to use manure safely as a fertilizer and spreading manure on pastures. Participants will receive excellent resources and hear from WSU Clark County Extension natural resources specialist Doug Stienbarger.
This workshop is put on by the Small Acreage Program which is made possible by joint sponsorship from WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.
